Talks, Presentations & Tasters

If you would like to find out more about the Alexander Technique, why not Contact Us to organise a talk or demonstration?

PAAT teachers regularly give talks and presentations to interested parties and are willing to consider any requests to do so.

In the past we’ve spoken to actors, musicians, medical students, teachers, local groups — and more — at venues ranging from village halls to university lecture theatres.

If you would like a general talk about the Alexander Technique, then we’ll provide one. If you need something related more specifically to your group’s interests, we’ll provide that too.

Practical demonstrations feature in all of our talks and presentations, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to find out how a teacher’s work with the hands can help you.

Forthcoming Taster Sessions

Leicester City Centre — Saturday 12th January 2019, 1.00-6.00pm

The Exchange Bar, 50 Rutland Street, Cultural Quarter, Leicester.

The Alexander Technique is a practical method for helping you to exercise greater conscious control over the things you do by changing long-standing and unhelpful habits of thought and action.

Everyone can learn, and these free taster sessions — delivered by experienced local teachers — demonstrate how the process of constructive change starts.

All your activities benefit. Standing, sitting, walking. Mindfulness to performance. Balance.

Stop by. Ask questions. Request a 10-minute hands-on demo.
